It was pretty early when Anna Leong did decide to burn their schoolbooks and to make music. And so their debut album was called "After the Forest Fire", published in january 2007, produced by Daniel Berglund (Isolation Years).
Anna Leong are from the city Umea-the biggest city in Noreway. After they made different recordings the swedish radio stations noticed them- and some others! Also Andy Bell, the bassist from Oasis is a big fan of them. He became aware of the band when he visited Umea and said about the debut album: "Anna Leong is a very good band. They´re not old yet, but they already created an album with great songs. I love them!"
The songs "They Will Know Us", "61" and "Sky Is Darkening" definitely deserve getting heard - by the way: the last one is Andy Bells favorite!
